Moving volume automation on separate clips
I've looked around a lot and as far as I can tell there is no way to do this but it seems like you should be able to. I'd like to select multiple clips on the same track, but clips that are unattached. I can do this with the grabber object tool. Then I would like to lower the volume automation (or volume trim) on those selected clips only, because, I want to copy that move and paste it onto another track's volume automation. Is there anyway to do that? I know you can gain with audio suite and I know you can move clip gain up or down but I need to move multiple clips volume automation. Is that possible?

Re: Moving volume automation on separate clips
maybe :
track view to volume trim select all unattached clips lower volume trim add volume trim to volume automation (i think right clicking track name menu) track view of both tracks to volume copy volume automation on the one track, paste it to the other

Re: Moving volume automation on separate clips
nice try but that doesn't work. The issue is that once you select all separate clips with the object grabber you can shift volume in the clips (or volume trim) without all the highlighted clips being joined. There has to be a way..

Re: Moving volume automation on separate clips
You want to make a selection of unattached clips (that means clips with silence inbetween) and than just lower the volume within the boundaries of the clips and no volume change in the space between the clips ?

Re: Moving volume automation on separate clips
Then , right now, I can only think of :
track view volume trim select first clip - lower volume trim - C (copy) Ctrl+Tab (next clip selected) - Cmd+Alt+V (repeat to fill) , Cmd+Alt+T (thin automation) Ctrl+Tab (next clip selected) - Cmd+Alt+V (repeat to fill) , Cmd+Alt+T (thin automation) and so on. Right-click track name - add trim automation select first to last clip - track view volume - C (copy) paste to the other track Not at once, but pretty quick.
