Default M1/Monterey: Do all interfaces require 'Allow user management of kernel extensions'?

I'm about to enter the Apple M1 world. I noticed that UAD, RME, and a few other brands require manual allowing of system and kernel extensions where you must reboot and select 'Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers' in order to use Monterey.

I'm a bit confused as I've been trying to wrap my around around this and figure out if it applies to all audio interfaces? Are there any audio interfaces that don't require this workaround with Monterey?

It's due to an Apple security feature. You (and they) wouldn't want malware taking control of your microphone or camera and recording you, and Apple treats Audio IO in the same class as microphones, so you need to do this process to assuage the OS that it's not a malicious device and this is, in fact, the way you want to use it. Sure, it's an extra hoop to jump through, but you should only need to do it once. [until they roll another BIG OS change].
