Unable to open Midi Studio Setup
I've been trying to re-open the MidiSetup for days now and nothing happens, dun it before without any problems and didn't update or changed anything since, it just occured suddenly with no reason.
Re-installed protools, oms, Midi IO firmware, checked all the cables and so on... The window simply won't open I've read another topic mentionning this problem and followed DigiTechSupport's advice (trash certain files in the prefs), but still no improvement This is getting really annoying and I'd appreciate some help, thanks

What system setup do you have? list it all! mac os and pt versions etc. Chris

sorry forgot about that :OS X 10.3.9
note: everything worked before with this setup and drivers, I didn't apply further updates or modifications and one day it just didn't wanna show up anymore

Which specific preferences did you trash? It's always a good idea to be specific about what you've tried so far, so that further troubleshooting can be done immediately.

You don't need oms! Can you open the AMS (audio midi setup) from the desk top without pt open? its in applications/utilities Chris

10.3.9 is not approved for digi.."Mac OS X 10.3.9 has not been fully tested with Pro Tools and is not recommended". does the midi setup appear ing the applications utilities folder on your mac drive..and can you setup from there?
