I usually find a work around but really in 3 months I have not finished even one song the way I wanted to because I just gave up and Bounced it too Two Track. My buddy that uses Cubase says he never has problem? but now IM starting wonder if he is really using it. Most of my songs have like 42 Tracks and tons of Plug-Ins. But after reading this IM thinking maybe I have it good with Pro Tools?
For the longest time I wouldn't do any audio routing in Logic at all, I used it strictly as a sequencer. However I was very careful about pro tools as well, it was only used for recording and editing audio and mixing. The only VI's I ever hosted in pro tools were hosted on samplecell cards with tdm modules, everything else was always hosted on separate computers, and sent in digitally via AES, ADAT, or ethernet(been using audioport universal for the last year and it's awesome).

I've been trying to figure out how to approach this at this point, this is a huge mockup, I have about 60 channels that would need to be re-panned and re-routed if I switch to pro tools. I have to finish this tonight, and burn 25 copies of it by 9am tomorrow morning. So do I bounce several takes, then edit them together to get rid of the pops, or do I re route this into another program to try and get a better bounce? Right now, every session in Logic is giving me this problem, even really simple cues with less than 10 tracks. I have a feeling that re installing my OS from scratch might fix it, but I really don't know and don't have time to find out.

Cool Re: What was I thinking?

Mr. ToolBox,

I'd like to help with the Logic hell if I can.

Would you send me an email or something?

I'm pretty easy to find.

Look for ScrewMaker.

Haha... my first car was a ford van with a 460. Total sleeper, it would do burnouts for blocks.

The Hobe GT is fast enough the way it is. Besides, it's just a baby, only 170,000 miles.
