Default DigiLink I/O license

A while back I got a new HD I/O interface and it included a DigiLink I/O activation card.

Is it correct I that I will only need this license if I use second party interfaces?

As I am not planning on doing this, is it possible for me to sell this license?

thanks for any info on this - didn't know where to ask, hope I'm in the right place!

You need the Digilink IO license with the Avid interfaces but you get it with the Avid interfaces so it doesn't cost you anything extra.

If you sell it then you won't be able to use your Avid interfaces with HDX.

thanks for your reply!

indeed I'm on HDX with three 16x16 HD I/O,
but I've already got a DigiLink I/O license on my iLok.

I don't think I'll need two licenses - or do I?

Unless you want to run two systems at the same time.

Yes, one license per system is enough. Just like with HEAT.

In this instance you're fine to sell the extra license.
