Default Updating to Sierra 12.2.2

Hello,

Right now I have Yosemite 10.10.5 and want to update to Sierra 12.2.2 (the most recent supported version).

I have found a 12.2.2 combo update but it requiers an already installed 12.x version. If I do it via App store I'll get the 12.2.3 version which is not yet supported.

Been looking for a 12.0 version but haven't found on legit and don't want to download from shady sites.

What to do?

TIA,

Robert

Assuming your hardware is compatible, just install latest version from app store and you'll be fine,in my opinion
If i were you i would clone my current system before updating, just in case

Just google "sierra combo update 1012.2" and first hit will be apple.com with a download link.

That link doesn't seem to work.
It worked this morning

Now it should work :

http://allpcworld.com/download-macos...o-update-free/

Scroll down and choose the 10.12.2 combo update or full update .dmg file.

The link you posted doesn't work as there Is no download, just a page full text and tell you how to update via App Store. I saw that too but there is no actual download, just info and you can email yourself that page, no link.

Have you got it working for you? Where is the link if so?

This sounds suspicious at best. I'd not trust it.
