import audio file problems

Did anyone happens on it before? in protools 6, it never happends, once i get uptaded to protools 7, happens very often, no matter what format of the song etc wav, aacc, mp3, cant even select it , than can not be covert to protools file type, anyone can help me? i do this all the time cos i need songs in it to be refrences when i mixing. thx 100 times.

What happens when you try to import? Do you get an error message? What does the error say?

Have you tried all the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting thread yet?

if it is AIFF format , than it saids unreadble by protools, it is normal i understand, but no matter the song u are choosing which is mp3 or mp4 format, cant even see in in the small window, so can not select it , and than to convert it. it only happens on some of the songs, not all of them. Eg. cd contains 10 songs which are same format, maybe only 2 songs can be see it in the small window, than u can click on it to convert it. the rest of it can not. it is the situation, thx a lot.
