Yeah.
I received an EMail by Avid support stating that they are aware, the bug was assigned critical status (don't know when), but a solution might be difficult since the code for automaton is very 'brittle'.

Whatever that means exacly. Reads like the this section of the code is a mess and they are afraid of making things worse while trying to iron this out.

Just my personal crystal ball though.

Hope it gets solved soon.

...AAAND [drumroll..] still not fixed in 2024.10.2

Last working version was 2019.6

Maybe this gets the cake for longest-running bug at some time?
