Delay comp imported on tracks

Hey guys, I use the +/- on the delay comp area in Mix window to line up/phase things. It differs from session to session. Sometimes, when I import tracks and select ONLY volume (or any other setting) it still imports the delay comp settings from other session... How could I mend that?!
