Default Mac OS 12.5?

My Mac keeps bugging me to update to 12.5 but the compatibility chart stops at 12.4. Has anyone taken the plunge?

Cool, thanks! I did a search for 12.5 first and the DUC didn't find anything.

Updated to 12.5 this morning and worked all day. Everything feels the same. Messed up my Source Nexus drivers but that was just a quick re-install. happens every time I update. No biggie. Everything else running smooth so far.

I'm not saying it doesn't work, but I tested all of the 12.5 betas as they came out, and one of them was REALLY broken. It was amazing how completely bad it was, Finder became unusable, applications wouldn't launch and/or wouldn't quit. So things can and do go wrong - lots of things are being changed for point releases.

It would be good if Avid could keep a bit more up to date with qualifying the latest OS versions, but they will get round to it. In the meantime, if you want to be safe, stick with what Avid have tested.

Exact thing happened to me with Nexus. Reinstall was the fix. First time that's happened. Otherwise 12.5 working fine here.

Oh, thanks for that reminder. I used to know that years ago when I was building websites on the side. Funny how old habits slip out of sight.
