Default Rewiring Reason into Pro Tools!

Hello everyone! This is sort of a multi part question:
I want to record the sound coming from Reason into a Pro Tools track. I already know how to rewire Reason into Pro Tools, that's not a problem. The problem is I'm not really sure how to actually record the sound coming from Reason to the Pro Tools track. Here's what I think I understand right now: Reason is rewired into Pro Tools, and when I play on my midi controller, I can see that the signal is being received by Pro Tools, and I can also hear the sound when I'm playing the controller because the outputs on the back of the Mbox are going to the monitors. Now, in order to record the signal coming from the Mbox outputs, would I then have to route that back into the Mbox inputs? If that's right, then this leads me to my next question: Since the signal is coming out of the Mbox and going back into the Mbox, would you use a mixer so that the signal would come out of the Mbox, go into the mixer and to the monitors from the mixer, and simultaneouly go out the mixer and back into the Mbox to be recorder by the Pro Tools track? If this is right, then this leads to the next question: I have a Mackie 1202 VLZ Pro mixer, but I'm not really sure 1) how to get the signal from the mixer to the monitors, and 2) how to get the signal from the Mbox output into the mixer, and then back out the mixer to the Mbox inputs. I have the control rooms outputs on the back of the mixer going to the monitors. Is this right? Now, how do I get the signal coming from the Mbox outputs into the mixer? I think I read somewhere that you could do this using the tape inputs on the mixer, but I'm not sure. Also, once you get the signal back into the mixer, how do you route it so that it goes back to the Mbox inputs? Right now I have the Main balanced left and right going out of the mixer to the Mbox inputs, and I think that's right. So, as you can see, I'm a little confused, or maybe not at all. Or, maybe you wouldn't have to do any of this and there's an easier way. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Default Re: Rewiring Reason into Pro Tools!

create an aux track, slap a rewire plug into it, assign the output of it to an unused bus.

create an audio track, assign the input to that bus you created the output to on your aux track.

record it.
