Mp3 bounce not working in PT10HD

Hi

For some reason I cannot bounce out in mp3 format anymore. Think I lost the ability when I installed PT11 but not sure.

I have done a clean install of 10.3.7 now but still doesn't work.

I'm presented with a pace screen when I try.

Odd, cause I don't even thing mp3 is an option anymore in PT10...

Any ideas?

Maybe this is from an older install that had the earlier mp3 option that required iLok. The fix should be to remove the offending mp3 plugin from the plugins folder.

The ilok version of MP3 option was PT8 and earlier. But just to be sure, please clean uninstall PT and re-install. Before installing, make sure you do not have that MP3.bundle anywhere.

Good shot, but there are no mp3 plugs.

Have done clean reinstallation's, but no luck.

The only place that mp3.bundle is is in the Avid|Protools|Codecs|MP3 folder.
Is that wrong?

Same problem here but in PT10 Native on Win7 64...

Error msg is "the mp3 option cannot be enabled because module initialization failed for MP3.dll. The MP3 demo period may have expired."

I don't have the mp3demo.dll only these:
MP3 (c:\program files\Avid\Pro Tools\Codecs
MP3 (c:\program files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\Codecs
MP3 (c:\Windows.old\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\Codecs
MP3 (c:\windows.old\Program Files\Avid\Pro Tools\Codecs
MP3 (c:\users\protools\AppData\Local\Temp\Temp1_Pro_To ols_10_3_6_Win_79550.zip\Pro Tools Installer\program files\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\Codecs

It works in PT11 but not in PT10. Go figure.

The last one looks odd - is that the correct path? I have no ProTools directory under Users, hidden or not. The Windows.old directories indicate a previous installation of Windows though I'm not sure if that could be causing the problem. I would back them up and then remove them and see if that helps.
