Front Panel DI on 003+ not working.

Hello there.

Basically my problem is when I plug into the front panel DI, no signal goes into protools. Since the DI overrides the rear input of Channel 1, both inputs on the rear work. But when I do plug into the front DI, the rear input are disabled. Im not sure if its an internal routing issue or what. Can someone help.

Have you tried both positions on the Line/DI switch for channel 1?

Yes I have. Doesn't matter if it is either mode.

That's a head scratcher. Did you unplug the rear? Just wondering if the over-ride works both ways(heck, its worth a try). I guess you can use a Direct Box and go into a mic input(XLR). I've been tracking bass thru an Aphex Punch Factory with great results(its a combination DI and opto compressor).

Yeah I did with the same results. Its got me beat. Its a real head scratcher. It has never worked since I got it. Don't know what else to try.
