Foot controller question

I've been reading for a while here trying to decide on a foot controller for my 11R. There don't seem to be any threads on this specific question. I'm hoping to use equipment I already own. My Ernie Ball VPJR "works", but not well. The "sweep" is not good. I read about modding it to make it work. Sounds too difficult for my skills. My question - I have a Line 6 shortboard. The connection is a RJ-45. Is there any way I can connect this to my Eleven Rack? Some kind of RJ-45 to quarter inch stereo?? Or any other option? This may be a really stupid question....but, thanks for any help.

Line 6 Shortboard is only compatible with Line 6 products. Shortboard Mk-II has a USB port so you can connect it to a computer, also connect your 11R to the computer using USB cable and then run FBV Control Software to remap the buttons to specific 11R functionnalities. Unfortunaly there's not way (as I know of) to connect a Shortboard (MK-I or MK-II) directly to 11R otherwise they would have sell a bunch!

Converting your volume pedal is only a question of changing the current pot to a linear 10K one and 1K resistor. You can also change the TS output jack to a TRS to save on adapaters.

Thanks for the response. It didn't seem like there could be a way to make this work. I'm just going with the FCB 1010 and the EurekaPROM.

I've got the FCB1010 w/Eureka Prom. It works quite well. Lots of info here on programming it. Check out Benoni's blog. Very helpful.
