Line inputs to Protools via Profile?
I've searched for an answer to no avail…
I'm trying to take a mic via a Neve pre into protools without hitting the Profile pre. I figured I could do this via the FOH rack line ins and the assignable inputs in PT (using 10HD w/Native Thunderbolt) but I can't seem to figure out how to route it, or if it is in fact possible. Anyone done this? Thanks

The only thing you could do would be to assign the FOH inputs to a channel and then use the direct out to that channel to go to Protools.
Trying to assign Protools inputs only means sending from Protools to the console for playback.
