Mbox 1 noob question
Just one question, I have an original mbox and I'm planning on getting some budget mics to record a variety of instruments. I was thinking an AT2020 condenser and a sure SM57 dynamic. I was hoping to be able to record an acoustic with the condenser in one input and the dynamic in the other. Now, correct me if im wrong, but I think the phantom switch powers both inputs at the same time. Will this mess up the SM57's recording??

Re: Mbox 1 noob question
No, it will be fine. You have to worry about phantom power with some ribbon microphones and some instrument amplifiers that have a DI (mostly older bass amps).
