Default Elastic dialogue/vocals how to

Hi all,

Thought you may be interested in my latest blog video on using elastic warp markers with vocals/dialogue. If you haven't started using elastic audio day to day this simple introduction may help you see the benefits of the 7.4 features.

Thanks Brent, the more tutorials with EA the better, it is still a bit confusing to me and I'm sure I'm missing out on some things it might help me with.

Thanks Brent - this is really usefull. The digidsign videos are to music compostion orientated for post.

I would find a video on how to spped up and slow down music for sound design (as I used to do with reelrock record on the ams audiofile) very useful.

cheers

Hi Mike,

At your request, Ive put together a video on two ways of using elastic audio to fit music beds to picture, and intend to do one more shortly.

Hope that helps!

Hi Brent

Thanks hugely for the video it was very helpful for me (as I am sure it will be for others) and has taken to me to a part of pro tools I've never dabbled with (being post oriented). Will RTFM for this section (tempo) now to see how I can dynamically alter speed against time for the "super slomos" ala matrix.

kind reagards

Im about to do a second video on music and warping. I overlooked using warp markers to much more easily achieve a similar effect to what I did in that video.
Using the tempo ruler method, however, you can affect as many tempo locked (tick based) audio tracks as you wish, in one shot.
The warp marker method is a single track method. Stay tuned. Prolly off to the studio to do it now while my girlfriend sighs (she cant complain, just took her out for dinner and the new bond film).
