Need Help With Midi
Hi there, I just got a MIDI/USB style keyboard, which i have hooked up to the USB on my G5. There are no preset sounds on the keyboard, so i was hoping to access some sounds on Pro Tools, or Reason adapted to PT. As of yet, i am not having great luck. As for sounds, I'm looking for different keyboards/instruments/percussion, etc.
Can anyone suggest a route for me to take. Can i record directly onto Pro Tools (with PT sounds), or do i have to do it in another program, like Reason adapted for PT, or perhaps something else all together? Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Re: Need Help With Midi
You can do it all in Tools + Reason
You need to configure AMS so that your Keyboard appears as a midi input source in PT. You can find out how to use PT and Reason together on the Propellerheads web site. |
