Drum Machine/SE Problem

I have an Ion / Alesis IED04 Digital drum station. It does not seem to work with my Pro Tools SE. My old midi keyboard works fine, drum machine does not.
Anyone else have this same setup, or know what I might need to get this to work. It would be nice to pound out some drum parts on a drum pad instead of a keyboard, if its possible.
