Exclamation Mobile Pre...connecting

Does anyone know if it is safe to plug in my mobile pre interface while my computer is already running?
I have been shutting down, connecting, then restarting everytime I use PT. I'm getting tired of doing this!!
Also my midi keyboard, which connects usb, I've been doing the same thing,,shut down pc, connecting and turn on keyboard, then fire up the pc. Is this overkill?
My PT seems to work flawlessly with my pc, but tired of re-booting all the time.
Would like to know a proper procedure for startup.

Default Re: Mobile Pre...connecting

I use the Mobile Pre with Pro Tools SE. Just yesterday I logged on to my laptop and then connected the Mobile Pre. No problem.
