MIDI Keyboard stopped working please help!

Was using pro tools 12 for few months and everything worked fine, then after opening it one day my keyboard would not work tried remaking the instrument tracks, checking the see if keyboard is working on computer, reinstalled pro tools, made keyboard was setup in pro tools. The strange thing though was that it would still work with just one instrument track in a session, and when i would select a different track it would continue to play from the previous track. (the only one that worked xD)

I am running pro tools 12.5 and have windows 7 any suggestions would be amazing thank you!

Do you have 'use first selected track' set in PT prefs?

I don't even see an option for that in preferences. Under Setup and then preferences correct?

Okay i found that but still nothing haha xD.
