Midi Predifined options in Peripherals\Midi Controllers menu
My desktop has several Predefined Midi options in the Peripherals\Midi Controllers however my Macbook Pro doesn't have any. I recently downloaded the Waverider demo and to set it up, I need to select the HUI controllers and it should be some predefined options from me to choose from in that menu

Your MIDI server might be crashing.
See if you have a file called M-Audio USB Support.plugin in MacHD/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers folder. Remove this, logout and try again.

I have a similar problem and have tried this to no avail, is there anything else you can suggest we try?
