Hello.
I am planning to purchase "Pro Tools | MTRX" in Korea.
Avid.com sent me an inquiry email because there was no clear and accurate information on the specifications of Dante options in "Pro Tools | MTRX".

It is confirmed that there are two types of DANTE Option among MTRX Options.
64-Channel IP Audio Dante Module, 128-Channel IP Audio Dante Card.

The questions I have are as follows.
1. Is it correct to use the 64-Channel IP Audio Dante Module, which is installed as standard in the MTRX Base Unit?

2. 64-Channel IP Audio Dante Module based on sample rate of 48khz. Is the in 32 channel and out 32 channel correct? Or is the in 64 channel / out 64 channel correct?

3. It is confirmed that the 128-Channel IP Audio Dante Card is installed in the slot, and I ask the same question.
Based on sample rate 48khz. Are the in 64 channels and out 64 channels correct? Or is it correct for in 128 channels and out 128 channels?

Hi there,

64 channel Dante card = 64 inputs and 64 outputs at 48khz.
128 channel Dante expansion slot card = 128 inputs and 128 outputs at 48khz.

The standard MTRX base unit only ships with 16x AES in & out, 64x MADI in & out, and 64x Digilink in & out. Both the 64 channel and 128 channel Dante cards are optional, and require an additional purchase.
