Upgraded to 9.0 less than 10 months ago. I do feel aggrieved that I am being asked to pay the same fee again just to have an up to date version, less than a year later. I appreciate it is a significant upgrade - in fact it seems to be the sort of upgrade I was promised moving to 9, but still, not happy.

Another $300 Avid? Come on. I know that money has to be made in order to improve product and keep the company going but you've gotten that from me for a long time now. This is simply gouging the consumer with what looks like a mediocre update by many accounts. The fact that in a year, you'll be asking your user base for another $300-400 is a crime.

It was bad enough waiting for the Snow Leopard update for almost a year and then now with the 9.05 nonsense......and this......

Done with this....moving on to Logic Pro. I've taken the time to learn it properly and already have a far better workflow going on with it.

After 10+ years of this crap, I've had it.

+1000000 I was willing to accept the upgrade price for 9 as it was such a big change, and I assumed it would mean the next upgrades would not be anything like the price. I'm really quite disappointed......................
