Default Feedback on 933 Quicksilver for LE 6, 001-bugs?

Hi, guys. I'm just asking for a little feedback on this model. I'm a low power user, radio production, recording 3-4 tracks max, adding a little processing to PT 6 with the old, trusty 001, squeezing the last bit out of this box. Rather than spend $ to upgrade my 400 AGP ( I haven't shut it off in years and it won't die), I found the Quicksilver at a known vendor for $500 refurbished, (whatever that means). 90 day warranty so it may be less of a crap shoot than buying a used box. My 400 is still worth a couple of hundred out here in Arizona, so it seems like a pretty reasonable upgrade path.

I ran into things like a super noisy fan on my current mac, and am wondering if there are any things to note on the Quicksilvers. I appreciate any feedback. I'm the guy that works fine with the old mac stuff (I bought 3 different new ones in the 90's, so I've made my contribution big time to Apple). Now I just want a sensible, economical upgrade to run the 001, 6.4 with Panther, will probably run Tiger for other stuff. I don't plan a PT upgrade with this machine, but you never know, maybe 002.

Any help or things to look out for would be appreciated. You guys are helping the little guys like me from wasting the hard earned $ (and that's a good thing!). Thanks.

QS are great machines. I have a dual 1 gig with 1,5 g of Ram and it rocks.
I would maybe spend more and get a Dual if you can
Some dont think a 002 is an upgrade, cause it will most surely need a new power harness, or 3
Ray

Dual 1 Gig QS 10.3.5
001 6.4
Waves 5
Didimax LT
2 x TL Audio C1
