PT 11.1.2 Update Error

Using a Macbook pro with OS 10.9.1

After upgrading from 11.0.2 to 11.1.2 following all of their steps and replacing my old 11.0.2 file I launched ProTools to start a new session. After taking a minute to load I was confronted with two error dialogue boxes.

The first saying:

"Could not create TCE plug-in's factory default file because a AAE error was encountered. AAE error 0 was encountered..."

I click "OK"

The second error dialogue box states:

"Could not create a new document because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/124699/ProTools/DFW/MacBuild/../Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm", line 1547.

(Use the Copy button to copy this message to the clipboard.). "


However it will allow me to go in through the Finder on my Mac and open previous sessions.


What do these errors mean and how can I get them to go away?!?!

Totally work. I opened a recent session of mine changed the play back engine. Now it loads as normal...odd but makes sense at the same time!

We need some new blood around here. I've used Pro Tools for so long that there's actual tape hiss coming from my hard drives.
