Should I back back all files from my internal hd to my OWC external firewire800 hd?
I'm trying to use my owc elite pro external hd to my mbp. It asked if i would like to use my external as a back up disk. Should I agree or it doesn't matter. I bought the owc ex-hd for pro tools use only.

That's time machine, if you want to use it I would make a separate partition for Time Machine and make sure it's set to backup only when you want. You should say no if you're only using it for Protools and don't want to use Time Machine.
