Default Hyper threading P4 !

Digidesign Support :
"Pentium 4 systems with HyperThreading technology must have "Intel HyperThreading" in the system BIOS disabled in Pro Tools 6.x. Pro Tools 7.0 and higher supports HyperThreading."

Hey , I just wanted to know if someone experienced this "enabling".I mean someone who has been through 6.x without P4HT then upgrade to 7.x activating P4HT.

Is there a real improvement? Is it still very stable ?
I know you can increase the processor use (limited to 85% without HT), what would then be your advice about settings with HT (90, 95 %...)
Any opinions welcome...Cheers
