what's up guys,
I don't know if this is a pro tools question so please forgive me if it's not. I'm using BFD all in PT 7.3 LE. I have it plugged into a instrament track and for some reason when I place data on the note line for my number 2 cymbal and left mouse click it I get this anoying buzz/hum. It sounds like what happens when you touch the live end of a 1/4 inch guitar cable if it's plugged into an amp that's turned on. The cymbal sounds fine but this buzz/hum is there as well. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution for it. Please help. |

Is that BFD or BFD lite? What version number?
This sounds like an old problem that the latest version of the plugin should solve. Check the FXPansion website for the latest version.

Thanks for the tip SPK. I went to the FXpantion site and looked at the updates. For some reason I had thought I had installed the latest update but my interface showed that I hadn't. I did have it in my download folder. So I installed it and the noise went away. But my interface still shows the same version. I'm confused but happy. thanks man.

It looks like there's an M though I could be mistaken. Anyway the noise is gone. Thanks again.

M comes before Q in the alphabet...
M was first, Q is the latest. Glad you got it sorted out.

Version Q was released on 10-11-06 and version M was released on 12-9-06. They both say Beta and that's what confused me. My logic is the same as yours about M coming first.
