Default Using the L2 And C4 For Mastering.. tips

What are some good tips for mastering with the L2 and C4 . Which should go first in the chain?
I usually use presets and im wondering if you any of you do it another way, or if you have any uesful tips. Thanks! I usually send all my tracks to a bus, bring the bus to 6.0 and put the 2 plugs on it.

When I record a band who wnats me to master it, I usually put the REQ 6, then the C4, then the L2. Usually set the L2 to about 3.5 and 0.2, Type 1, and 24 bit. It all depends on the music though, and how Squashed you want it. More output on the L2 makes it LOUD, but takes away from the dynamics of the tune. The C4 I usually set to Electro-Optical and do subtle tweeks on the highs and lows. The REQ 6 is about about the music and really needs to have time spent getting the right freqs. out

Put the on your master fader like this.
Try the c4 first and choose basic multiin the presets(under load)
.Then put the L2 and first set the dither to 16 bits and put the ot ceiling to minus 1 or minus 2 .Then bring then threshold down to like minus 7.
