UPDATED July 14 08' Still Can't get SC2+ TDM to work on my system

G4 Dual 1gig 1.5gig ram lots of HDD
Digidign 13 slot magma exp chassis
MixCore < MixFarm < Mix Farm < DSPII < DSPII < DSP < SampleCell II Plus TDM < Sample Cell II Plus no TDM
2x888 2x882|20 2x882
MOTU MIDI timepiece AV USB w/ Novation25SL control for Virus and HUI emulation
PT 5.1.1 w/ OS9.2.2
new ebayed SC2 with TDM card w/o sotware disks or booklets

Both cards are Sample Cell II+ cards and iare Matchmaker QE Mix+ compatable!

issues bad
-Sample Cell extension loads with RED X on boot up every time
-sample cell editor will not load,,,eror message for card not found

issues good
-digitest says both cards pass: in Dual 1Gig G4 & old G4 Yikes machine solo
-downloaded and installed the correct digi init 5.1.1
-downloaded and installed new SC2 plugin
-found pdfs at digi support
-samplecell shows up in the I/O setup and in the mixer!! wtf?

What are the chances I purchaed a Windows NT PCI SC2+?
How are the Windows Vs. Mac cards identified by lookint the card over?

Anyone want to comeover and help me out for cash or trade!

I bought a pci samplecell 2 on ebay for use with a G4 400mhz, but found out that it was incompatible. It needs to have an updated chip or be a samplecell 2+ card. I bought a cheap powermac 8500 and the card worked after I took all the ram out of the SC card and changed the PRAM battery in the computer. Try taking the RAM out in the card and reseatting it. Also everytime you do a Digitest or a test samplecell in samplecell editor, the computer needs to be restarted. If you have a beige powermac with pci slots, try it in there too.

One other thing, try the card at the very bottom or very top PCI slot. I know the nubus SC cards where sensetive about that.
