Re: what processor?
I beleive the A8V deluxe can acommodate the new AMD x2 64 processors (possibly a BIOS upgrade necessary, but I'm not sure). The new version MPowered 7 that is coming out will make use of the dual core nature of the x2 64 processors, and you will get much better perfomance out of them if you can afford one.

Re: what processor?
sounds good, the processor is expensive though. if i get this do i qualify for a free upgrade to m powered version 7 as i bought version 6.8 as soon as it came out.

Re: what processor?
All registered users of MPowered are eligible for the free upgrade to 7.

Re: what processor?
Yes, it should do the job nicely, but you would be better off with the 4400+ with the larger L2 cache, IMHO. (unfortunately at a price difference of about $200)

Re: what processor?
I have the same board and was told to wait for the x2 64 chips to come down in price. The newer chips are so much faster that it doesn't really matter too much once you jump to 64 bit. I have also run into some HW/SW incompatibilities due to the fact that we are dealing with new technology and not all software is moving as fast the hardware. Talk to your local shop, mine will let me trade in my 64 for a x2 64 in 6 months + the $ difference if that is what I still want(should be cheeper then). Just my 2 cents
