Little Midi Problem

PT just won't respond to my Midi input at all. I've tested it with other devices and it seems ok. I recently re-installed PT and it hasn't worked since then - si I think I may have over looked a little setting some where.

I'm creating a new midi track, setting the input correctly and out put correctly but when I press a key I get nothing. My friend is coming round later and we were going to jam for a while but that's looking a long way off at the moment.

I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give me.
