Avid Artist Transport

I bought a second hand transport not knowing I couldn't download the software without having a serial number. Is there a work around? The seller didn't include any software. I am waiting on him to contact me but in the mean time is there a work around so I can start using my transport in Nuendo on a Mac OS 10.8

I believe you can download the previous versions of Eucon 2.6.2 (and below) without registering or requiring a serial from the Avid site. To the best of my knowledge its just the latest software that requires the registration and right now you want to steer clear or 2.7 as its quite buggy anyways...

You can also request that Avid reset the registration on your Artist Transport and then you can register your new gear for yourself and get all of the most recent downloads when they become available.

I can't do anything it keeps asking for a serial number. This sucks guess I should have done more research.
