Automation Bug in PT HD10?

While mixing in PT HD 10.2 using DCommand controller: When I write automation to the top of the fader throw and let go, Ptools draws a volume line from the point I reached the top of the throw to the auto break point where I released and ignores any moves between the point I maxxed out and my release point. I restarted and it seems that I can now write automation after I hit the top of the throw, but if I let go in touch at the top of the throw, the resulting graph is a 700ish ms slope instead out an immediate return to null like it showed I was writing. Anyone else have buggish issues?
