Default Only getting sound from the left side from digi rack002/standalone mode

Running macbook pro 10.6.7 os with Native Instruments maschine and using 002 rack in standalone for a audio interface. ( i do not have protools or any other software in my mac)

I hit a speed bump..help me out dawgs..

i took all the advise i was given here and thank you all for that...downloaded the software.(coreaudio drives v8.0.3) maschine and mac preferences recognize my rack
looking good..i plugged in my headphones to the rack..do not have studio monitors. I can hear my maschine beats..
i connected a mic to the digi rack for troubleshooting.. i can hear myself thro maschine (sample)

However Im only getting sound from the left side. I tried switching the fw cable to the other port. still no change. i tried connecting a ipod to the digi rack and i can also only hear the left side.. HElP!!!

itunes also plays thro laptop only and not thro the digi rack

I bought a 800-400 9 pin to 6 pin firewire cable.. could that be a problem

im so close to were i wana be, but only getting sound from the left side

help,thx man

You really need to hook it up to some monitors to determine whether you have dodgy headphone jack or if you have lost an entire channel.

so basically everything ive done is right..ill take my stuff to my boys studio n troubleshoot this. how much would it cost to fix a channel?

Is it possible that you are feeding a stereo input with a mono mic signal?
