A VERY HIGH Suggestion for Digidesign/Avid Company

THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR DIGIDESIGN / AVID COMPANY.....

I have A VERY HIGH Suggestion for Digidesign/Avid Company.

This is in regards to Transfuser VST/RTAS plugin.

As a DJ of 28 years experience in major nightclubs.
I am telling you Digidesign, I highly suggest you make the Transfuser VST
into a Stand Alone Software.

So DJ's can use it in LIVE DJ Sets.
DJ's can bring hundred if not thousands of their REX & Wave Loops
with them and use this Transfuser in a major part of their DJ Sets.

This will definitely compete with the all mighty PIONEER DJ-1000 Effector unit.
Because this will do more than the Effector would do, which is having your own
samples and MASSIVE effects that Transfuser has along with other great
things the Transfuser has to offer.

DJ's already bring laptops to their DJ sets and gigs.
So why not have the Transfuser as part of their DJ lifestyle.

But We Can Only Dream.
I hope you guys make it, and send me a copy to test in the clubs.

VSTi never! Standalone RTAS maybe, as in an Eleven Rack equivalent. I'd go as far as saying I'd like to see an Access Virus TI AIR VI equivalent.

There was a thread a while back about a Digidesign / ProTools LIVE idea, where we could bring AIR VI's to the stage without the protools fat!

Imagine a Muse Receptor with Transfuser, Structure, Hybrid, Velvet, DB33, Xpand and even the great AIR plugins. Or imagine even just doing that on your laptop, with some sort of AIR VI shell to run the plugs standalone.

Let's all dream this together at 20:00 GMT this evening... cosmic waves....yeah..

Actually I think the OP mistakingly is using the phrase "VST" to mean virtual instrument, not realizing that VST is a "format" like RTAS. AU etc..

This is not the first time I've seen this... not sure where it got started but people are using the term "VST" as a generic for VI ...

So I dont think he means to make them into VST format...just that they should make a stand alone version not needing PT as a host...

I say wait it out. Transfuser will be good. Just look at the pain & suffering going on with the users of BPM.

Thats exactly what I was saying., THANK YOU for correcting me.
Sorry for my stupitity and screwing up the term.


Basically, I want to be able to install it as a .EXE file like any normal software into my laptop computer.
And take my laptop into the club and use Transfuser as another DJing tool in the Club.
It WILL definitely give PIONEER DJ-1000 Effector unit a run for its money.
