Any experiences with the Audient 8 Channel mic pre

I am considering this unit as a replacement for one of my Digimax 96's.

Any opinions would be appreciated

Although they are not direct competitors -Others that I've considered in the same price range were Focusrite ISA 828, and API A2D.
