Default How to Increase Song Tempo without Changing Pitch?

Need to increase the tempo of a song but not change the pitch. Elastic Audio? All tracks or just the bounced 16/44 stereo?

Enable EA on all tracks, and use the correct algorithms for each track ie monophonic for a vocal, polyphonic for guitars etc. Set all tracks to Ticks instead of samples, then change the tempo.

I slowed a song down by 4bpm yesterday and the result was amazing. Totally un-noticable.

I'd 'Save As' under a new file name first, as after I did this PT managed to fail with a few audio files, leaving them un-playable, so I had to go back and redo it all.

Where can I get "Elastic Audio"? Will it work with 6.8.1?

I don't know if it is available separately, but it is part of Version 7.4.

Keybeeetsss is correct, view your 6.8 to 7.4 upgrade as the biggest, baddest plugin you ever spent 75.00 on. Then enjoy all of the other added features as freebies.

Will the upgrade mess up my existing sessions? Are there any other things on my mac that I will have to update of change after I upgrade?
