changing the tempo of a song

Im trying to slow the tempo of a certain song in pt le and i just wanted to know how do you change the tempo of a certain song. I have a bunch of different songs in one pt session and im just mixing them up as one constant flow, almost like as if you were going to master an album in pt.

It really all depends on which version of Pro Tools you are using.

In older versions, you would need to TCE all of the audio files to the new tempo (unless we're talking about REX/ACID files, and then only 7.0 and above).

In the newest version, 7.4, you can use elastic audio to change the tempo of pre-recorded audio files. You just need to make sure you make the correct elastic audio settings on each track. (there is no "catch-all" answer here, as the procedure depends entirely on the session and what it contains).

Multi-track songs? or two track mixes? I would definitely not recommend doing that with multi-tracks.

That would make sense for two track mixes.
