Send to Sibelius
What does Send to Sibelius really do? I can't imagine it sends much more info than a standard midi file. I'm thinking about getting either Sibelius or Finale.

Re: Send to Sibelius
Yes and launches Sibelius. Being a division of Avid, personally, Sibelius would be the way to go. If Pro Tools is your main DAW then Sibelius integration would be of interest, though, doesn't mean that it's going to happen. But for sending .pdf scores probably either can do this but 'Send to Sibelius' command makes it just that one step faster.
Not only this but with Sibelius 5.x gives support to VST and AU formats that opens some interesting doors. However, currently there are no third party Soundsets available. Though you could say with a degree of certainty that third party library manufacturers are working feverish to provide such mappings. filosofem
