Default Boot Camp

I don't seem to understand how the "Search" feature works, so I have to ask this here ....

Why do some people need to run Boot Camp on a Mac, when they are running the Mac version of PT?
Did I get it wrong? I remember reading a thread where a few people said that "after removing Boot Camp, their problems disappeared" .... words to that effect.

I'm just curious as to why they had it on in the first place. Were they, like I hope to do, running Windows software on the Mac when they were not runing PT? I hope to run a few Windows apps like Power Point and stuff when I teach.

Thanx in advance for any answers.

Default Re: Boot Camp

I run Bootcamp because I have a few plugins I like that are Windows only. The sad part is that they are almost all freebes but I like how they sound for certain applications. I run 7.3.1CS4 under both without too many problems.
