Default Changing Tempo Mid-Song

I'm sure this is relatively easy, but how do you change the tempo of a song mid way through? Say I have a click set at 120 BPM, then want to change to 100 BPM two minutes into the song?

Any quick tips? I'm running 7.3.1.

Thanks
Jay Kardong

Just go to the Midi menu and select Tempo Change, enter the start time, and there you go.

You may have to turn on the Conductor track if it's off. Pretty simple either way.

I'm running 7.1.1. I just use the selector tool to define the point I want the change, go to event/tempo/operations window and type in the tempo I want. You might want to experiment with the linear, parabolic, S-curve etc options because these are really handy for smooth speed-ups or slow-downs, for instance at the end of the song.
