A suggestion for Digidesign...
Why not produce a host processor boosting PCI card for use with PT LE systems similar to the ones made by Universal Audio and T.C Electronic? Software could still be limited to a select number of tracks so as not to step on the toes of the TDM systems.

I second that idea, and why not make an 8 chanell, preamp with ADAT in and out,, so that people don't end up buying products by third party vendors.
Just like there are HD interfaces, how about verious LE add ons? |

Good idea, Notefarm! And again, I can't stress enough how valuable extra processing power would be to thoes of us who are running project studios! I know that I for one would fill my PCI slots full if they were available!
