Upgrading from pt9 to pt11 and upgrading macbook pro
I am about to upgrade from pt9 to pt11 and i will also upgrade my 3 year old dual core MBP to a MBP 15-inch with Retina display. Should i go for the 2.3GHz with Retina display 16 gig ram and 512gig ssd or will the 15-inch: 2.0GHz with Retina display, 8 gig ram and 256gig ssd be enough? (I do utilize this computer for general use as well). Also i want to purchase an external drive for the audio and am considering a Lacie portable 256gig ssd w/thunderbolt. I would appreciate any feedback regarding these choices...Thanks
