Ext Drives not showing up in workspace

Got a couple of new 2 TB ext. USB drives recently, and they're not showing up in my TP workspace, unlike my firewire-connected older drives. Any tips? They seem to be formatted correctly. Using a Macbook Pro w/ OS X 10.6.8, PT LE 8.0.1, Digi 002.
