Default Very Slow Playback

Evening all,

I've scoured the forums and google to see if anyone else is having this issue, but haven't seen it yet.

Am running PT 8.04 with Windows 7. Seems to be going ok, and then all of a sudden, my play back suddenly goes really really slow. It sounds a little like a Darlik. I have tried changing my firewire cable, updating my firewire driver, turning off all of my plugins, and playing with the buffer in the hardware settings. Does anyone have any ideas?

Once it's turned slow, it appears to stay that way, and quitting and restarting PT only fixes it for a few seconds.

It maybe worth noting that the only way I can get my 002 to work in Windows 7 is to run PT 8.04 in compatability mode with XP SP3. This also means I can use my Command 8.

Any help would be appreciated as I am out of ideas.

Thanks

Ben

SiSoftware Sandra
