Default Changing tempo in a song help!

Hello DUC,

So I'm trying to have 2 different tempos in my song. Well it won't let me do this. When I hit the + button for a "add tempo change" nothing happens. I have tried everything and even looked on a tutorial online where it worked when he just clicked the tempo ruler. When i click the tempo ruler it just highlights.

So HOW DO I ADD A TEMPO CHANGE????

thank you
