Re: Monterey is now available
That would be Complete Plug-In Bundle, which is (as is PT itself) not supported on Monterey and/or Apple Silicon. Sit tight, I am hoping santa brings us a christmas present. Every year since Avid went to year.month versioning, we have had a x.12 release.

I wish I would have seen your list yesterday, I just arrived at the same conclusion...the hard way!

2021.12 released without Monterey support, please update and see if it fixes anything

Re: Monterey is now available
Avid added a dialog on PT launch that warns that the plugins are not compatible with Monterey and offers to move them to the Unused folder, rather than PT just crashing.

Thankfully once more, I have no reason to upgrade to Monterey yet. For those who are forced to use Monterey, I hope these hurdles aren't too difficult. |

Re: Monterey is now available
I'm presently running Monterey 12.1 Release Candidate, and it seems to have fixed some of the uglier problems with 12.0.1, most notably the memory leaks, so the general release should be out for everyone in a week or two (unless they have another RC).
The fundamental issues with Avid Complete Bundle are not altered however, and I suspect Avid will have to recode some of that stuff to make it work. PT itself seems pretty stable on 12.1RC in my limited testing. And I have EUCON working now too. So, along with the 2021.12 build, we are slowly converging on some workable solutions. But I'm still guessing that it will be nearly a year before it's a solid platform for commercial use. After all, there are bound to be some hiccups when iLok and PT go AS native. Dominic |

Re: Monterey is now available
Good to hear that the memory leaks are fixed in the 12.1 release candidate. Earlier posts online did not mention the memory lead fix so there was general concern. As you mentioned, we are getting closer with Monterey and Apple silicon for Protools, but not there yet.
