Default Re: AIR Hybrid 3 (Monterey)

FWIW Air instruments are always on sale somewhere. If you don't have an immediate need you can find them cheap. Instead of buying the upgrade from Loom 1 to Loom 2 I got the "Super Synth Pack" or something that had Loom 2, Hybrid, and The Riser. For $10. Ten

Don't care for Hybrid given the many alternatives and I have no use for Riser. But $10 for Loom2? Yes please.

Agreed, Loom is fantastic, especially given the price!

Vacuum Pro is awesome for 'analog' sounds and more.

Structure looks dated but is easy enough to use and I find myself returning to certain sounds, even with newer alternatives on hand.

Strike is great. The sounds aren't always great but a good deal of the problem is the over mixing within the plugin. I prefer something a bit more natural and general tame or remove the EQ and such and am much happier. Loads of great patterns and programming is a real plus. Easy to edit and plenty of features.

Velvet is great. I have other EPs I use probably more but I still return here on occasion.

The Riser is great too. I don't use it much because my music doesn't call for such a thing so often but when it does the Riser has all you need and more.

DB33 is good. I've used it on occasion. I used to use the NI organ more but the new kid on the block from IK beats them all.

MiniGrand still sounds great for what I need. I probably use Alicia's Keys more but MiniGrand is pretty great too. Plus it comes in mono channel too which I like on occasion.

I have the extra plugins from AIR. Don't use then much but they were cheap enough to have if needed.

Stephen
